  • 15,984 Meals Packed for Children in Haiti

    IMAG0399Last night was a wonderful and successful evening. 17 people from Teleios joined 60 others at FMSC and packed 74 boxes of “Mana”. 74 boxes equals 15,984 meals, enough to feed 44 children one meal per day for one year. The meals will be shipped to the mission partner in Haiti on October 29, reaching Haiti in 4–6 weeks.

  • Celery Night Fever–A Family Fall Event

    There was an outbreak of "Boogie Fever" on Friday, October 3, and no one wanted a cure. Westwood families danced the night away at the Fall family event! "The 70s Dance Party" was a groovy scene that kicked off Operation Christmas Child.

Everyone brought their potluck offerings and filled the picnic tables with delicious appetizers and food.

They eagerly connected as an Upper Room family while building relationships with each other and group leaders, and passionately singing worship songs at the top of their lungs on the drive to the game.

    1620732_682086668534591_3935523226311015525_nAs I look back on that snowy evening in November at Perkins, it is amazing to think of all that the Lord has done since then to form just the right teams for each country, have essentially three mission trips happen simultaneously, see such outpouring of His Spirit and grace, keep everyone healthy and safe, and to witness how He longs to meet the needs of the people we came alongside. We stand in awe.
