    Student Ministry

In Student Ministry, we love seeing our middle and high school students get into community and walk through life with Jesus. We get together to worship, have fun, and engage in conversation in large and small groups on Wednesday nights at Westwood and we would love to welcome your student!

It’s been shown that to grow a vibrant and lasting relationship with Jesus, every student needs a handful of intentional mentors that invest in their life. If you love students and want to grow your faith while impacting others, there is no better place to serve than student ministry!

  • Groups

We believe that God created all people to live in community with one another. In community we experience grace, receive encouragement, and can find the support we all need to thrive through life’s challenges. At Westwood we do that in groups. We have a number of opportunities for you to find community in a group here at Westwood this fall. Check out our available groups!

  • Serve

God could have made us all the same, but He didn’t. He gave us each unique talents, resources, and life experiences. When we share those with others, we grow deeper in our relationship with Him. We want to invite you to take a next step at Westwood and join a serve team! Let us know you’re ready to learn more or join a team at any of our campuses below.

Let’s Grow is an experience where we will focus on God’s love for us and learn new ways to grow in our love for Him. It is taught by Westwood pastors and staff and is a great way to meet new people and take a step to grow in your faith. We would love for you to join us!

If you are interested in becoming a member at Westwood, on Monday, October 10 all campuses will gather at Westwood Chanhassen from 7:00-8:30pm for Membership Night in room A111. During this time we will explore more of Westwood’s history, core beliefs, and membership details. It will include a chance for you to complete your membership appointment. Registration is not required.

    (NEAR) The Hub:

    (FAR) Prayer Opportunities:

Westwood hosts two regular opportunities to join in prayer for the most current needs of our Far Partners.  One takes place every Wednesday morning at 7:00am and the other happens monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 12pm.  Both prayer times last approximately one hour. To get connected, please contact Chaz Nichols.

    (FAR) Stay and Pray:

For every ministry team that Westwood sends to serve our Far Partners, we also have a Stay-and-Pray team that commits to praying for the travelers, ministry and ministry partners.  When you sign up, you will receive regular emails with updates from the team and how to pray for them as they travel.  There will be several trips coming up this fall with Stay-and-Pray teams that we invite you in to:
