Special Guest Speaker This Sunday–David Brickner
Week 4: Inauguration Day–What Changed? Temple

About David
Sunday we are privileged to hear from David Brickner in our sermon series Inauguration Day: What Changed? Temple. David leads the Jews for Jesus organization and his messages shed light on the significance of Jewish history and traditions. Hanukkah began this week and David Brickner's message will explore what believers today can learn from the Festival of Lights. More than a simple historical lesson, this message is also a call to purity and the importance of letting "your light shine before men" (Matthew 5:16).

Nativity–Original Song by Phil and Heather Joel

Nativity–Original Song by Phil and Heather Joel

Story behind the song
Nativity, the song that I shared during this week’s offertory, was written by my friends, Phil and Heather Joel. The Joel’s wrote this song together for their church’s Christmas “nativity” play and is from the point of view of the shepherds, but also all of humanity! The message of Nativity ties in beautifully with our current Christmas series, Inauguration Day, as the song’s focus lies upon the anticipation of the coming of our Messiah and how glorious our Lord’s arrival is!
