What sort of things do students do in weekly programs?
Biblically driven relevant teaching. Small group discussions, worship, building relationships with each other and staff. Games and fun activities.
What do I do if it is my first time at Westwood?
You can give our associate, Jasmine, a call and let us know that you are coming. You can find a leader at the cafe counter in the Intersection to let them know you are new, and we will take it from there.
I am nervous; am I going to feel welcome? Will I know anyone there?
Our programs draw students from a variety of local schools in area school districts and private schools, along with home school. Our small groups are assigned by grade, gender and sometimes by schools.
Am I able to bring my friends and when is the best time to bring them?
Friends are always welcome. Some great venues to bring friends, especially ones who haven’t been to Westwood before are special events, Wednesday evening programs. Consider what their comfort level might be before you invite them.
Can I be put in small group with my friends?
We do our best to accommodate all small group requests.
How can I get information about WSM weekly programs, monthly events, and/or retreats?
