Support Recovery

AA
An Alcoholics Anonymous support group is held at Westwood on Monday evenings. It serves people from Westwood as well as the community. The group consists of men and women, youth to seniors, and follows the traditional 12-step approach. The only requirement to participate is a desire not to drink.

In the group, people find support and encouragement from those that have experienced what they experienced. The result is radically changed lives. People who enter into sobriety find that, not only have they ceased to drink, but the program of recovery has introduced them to a new way of looking at life. It is a spiritually-based program and is open to everyone.

If you would like information about the AA group, please contact Pastor Dave Trautmann at 952-224-7322

"I was resolved to the fact that I would die an alcoholic. I'm grateful that I learned about Westwood's 12-Step Program. Through it God has worked a miracle in me. There is no question in my mind that I am going to make it."
