Life can be filled with challenges and transitions that may leave us discouraged, confused, feeling disconnected and alone. At Westwood Community Church we desire to be a place where people in need experience the love of Christ and the support of one another.
Our support ministries are intended to address a variety of personal losses, addictions and struggles and provide ways to heal and grow. In addition to various support groups, we offer one-to-one caring relationships, classes, pastoral care and referral resources.
As difficult as life may be, we believe God invites us to lean on Him and one another in our weakness, if we hope to experience the strength and healing He has for us in Jesus Christ. If you are in need of support, please let us know how we can help.
Westwood provides pastoral counseling that seeks to integrate Christian resources of Scripture, prayer and community. Counseling sessions are generally brief (1-3 sessions) and referral to professional Christian counselors is provided. Appointments may be scheduled by calling Joyce Peper, 952-224-7322.
Pastor on Call
A Pastor is available 24 hours a day for crisis needs and for those needing spiritual assistance. Hospital visits, anointing with oil and prayer are ministries available through our Pastor on Call. For assistance, please call the church office at 952-224-7300. In case of an emergency or after hours, leave a message on the emergency pager and you will be contacted.

Anointing for Healing
For those afflicted with sickness, a prayer ministry of anointing with oil is available by appointment by calling Joyce Peper, 952-224-7322.

Counseling Intern
Westwood works in conjunction with Bethel University students completing their Masters Degree in Christian counseling. Appointments can be made by calling Joyce Peper, 952-224-7322.
Counseling Resources
Westwood Community Church often makes referrals to professional Christian counselors when more than brief pastoral counseling is needed. We try to recommend clinics and clinicians whose views and practices are in accord with the Westwood Statement of Faith, values, or philosophy of ministry. It is not always possible to ensure complete agreement. Persons seeking a counselor are urged to carefully screen prospective counseling providers to their own satisfaction.
