All In

Over two years the All In campaign will take Westwood to a better place financially so that we can free resources to reach people with the love of Jesus Christ.

The goal of the campaign was for 1,000 Westwood households to participate in this two-year campaign which is above and beyond General Fund giving. That participation goal was exceeded and God is being honored by the generosity of Westwood.

Tied to this campaign are the goals of the church . If you would like to participate in the goals of reducing debt, servicing our current mortgage, and supporting ministry expansion, your contributions are still needed!

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions

Why did we do another capital  campaign? Didn’t we just finish one?
The “Nothing Less Than Extraordinary  Campaign” concluded last spring. Because our monthly principal and interest payments come out of the “Building Fund,” at this point in Westwood’s young history there is a need for continuous campaigns. In addition, the “All In” campaign allows us to significantly reduce debt and expand our ministry reach, addressing our worship space challenges.

What’s the “All In” Campaign goal?
The goal was for 1,000 individuals or families to be “All In” by pledging to the campaign above and beyond their General Fund giving. Our vision is to see God do three extraordinary things through your generosity. We are asking God to move us to give enought to cover our principal and interest expense for two years ($2,394,264), reduce debt by at least 4.2 million to free up dollars for ministry, and provide $500,000 over two years for ministry expansion.

Isn’t finishing the Phase 2 Building a part of the  campaign?
While that had been our hope, finishing  Phase 2, with a code-required new parking lot, is simply too expensive to manage in this campaign with the other goals. It is estimated that finishing Phase 2 will cost $3,500,000 and current planning includes this for 2013 and beyond.
